Quoting pulls loss history (CLUE) and, for most lines, a credit-based insurance score. Federal law requires the consumer's own consent for that. So before any premium or carrier name leaves our office, the insured must send one email from their own address to [email protected] saying they authorize Via Rapida Services to obtain quotes and reports and that your agent acts for them. One sentence is enough. No call, no form, no delay. A signed broker-of-record or authorization letter attached by you works too.
We do not send premiums, carrier names or documents to an unverified third party, and we never text or call an insured who has asked for email only. This protects your client, and it is the same rule for every human broker in California.
Auto, renters, small commercial: 2 business days. Homeowners in a wildfire zone, surplus lines, FAIR Plan plus DIC wraps: 5 business days. We confirm receipt within one business day.
